Which Technology is Right for Me?

Hearing Aids technology level are chosen based on objective test results.

 

Shape and configuration of your hearing loss are instrumental in deciding how many channels your hearing aids need to have to provide adequate flexibility in all frequency areas.

 

Your Hearing Impairment Index provides an indication on the extend of your auditory deprivation and to what extend you would benefit from higher quality sound cleaning and speech enhancing technology.

Hearing Technology:

Level 1

 

For flat audiogram configuration, and/or no auditory deprivation effects and/or no sensitivity to noise.

Hearing Technology:

Level 2

 

For slightly sloping audiogram configuration, and/or minimum auditory deprivation and/or minimum sensitivity to noise.

Hearing Technology:

Level 3

 

For more complex audiogram configuration, and/or moderate auditory deprivation and/or moderate sensitivity to noise.

Hearing Technology:

Level 4

 

For sloping or complex audiogram configuration, and/or sever auditory deprivation and/or sever sensitivity to noise.

Hearing Technology:

Level 5

 

For sever or ski sloping audiogram configuration, and/or very extensive auditory deprivation and/or high sensitivity to noise.
